Blade Update: I ended up ditching Inox. A lot of pull after the first shave! Not recommended! I replaced it with the Lord Racer, which was ok. Decent Shave, Decent Longevity,  Pretty ok Pulled a bit on my upper lip though.
Replaced it with the Rapira Swedish Supersteel and holy poo poo!!! wow!!!!! very good!!! Only needed a 2 pass shave and had no touch ups!!  Upper lip (The Truest Test Of A Blade, I'm finding) had no discomfort at all!  I hope it lasts a while!

The Rapira blades look hella cool, anything with Cyrillic is fine by me.

Upper lip is a real test but I have a swirl near the middle of my neck that has always been the worst spot

what's up guys my brother said he was sending me some shaving stuff and a package came in the mail today.

It contained this synthetic shaving brush
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011PXIN2C?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_3&smid=A1A1YI3UXZHNQG#customerReviews
Haven't used it yet, but it feels really nice

And apparently there's another package coming with some creams and who knows what else so stay tuned!

My silvertip achievement cuber brush is nice but it loses hair like a son of a bitch so it won't last me nearly as long as I had hoped.  This looks like it will be interesting, thanks for the heads up.

@steev what are your shaving products of the year?

just tested the brush

WOW this brush lathers really nice! It's soft on your face like a achievement cuber, but has a bit of backbone like a boar
Definitely putting this one on "steev's shaving products of the year 2016" list

As for other shaving products I recommend:

Astra Superior Platinum 100 pk - for $10 you can shave all year! (probably longer if you don't shave every day)
http://www.amazon.com/Astra-Platinum-Double-Safety-Blades/dp/B001QY8QXM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453446216&sr=8-1&keywords=astra+100+pack

Nivea Men Original Post Shave balm
http://www.amazon.com/NIVEA-Original-Replenishing-Non-Greasy-Bottle/dp/B00PDDG1TS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453446434&sr=8-1&keywords=nivea+original+post+shave+balm

Van Der Hagen shave set from target - I just like the mug and stand, never used the brush and the soap stinks. Actually you can probably find an equal mug/stand separately and possibly cheaper so this kit is not really important
http://www.amazon.com/Van-Hagen-Mens-Luxury-Shave/dp/B004L4EING/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453445725&sr=8-1&keywords=vanderhagen+shave+set

Arko soap, etc

other than that I haven't really been buying shaving products for a while.

Just remember:

Wow great post, thanks steev.

Here are my SPOTY 2015:

Razor: Feather AS-D2.  It's really great and I am glad I bought it but I can't seriously recommend anyone buy this instead of a good $30-40 razor.

Blades: Feather.  What can be said that hasn't been said before?  One of the sharpest blades around and universally considered one of the best.  I might buy a sampler of some others just to reassess.

Soap: Mama Bear's Awakenings.  This is the best shave soap I have ever used and I will probably never shave again if it stops being produced.  If you like menthol this is probably the best soap you can buy because I can't think of anything I don't like.  But don't take my word for it, read this review that showed up in Google when I was getting a link to the manufacturer's site.

Aftershave: Fine Snake Bite.  No fragrance oil, basically just menthol which will possibly make your eyes water and your face will feel minty fresh for several minutes after.  I actually like most of the Fine aftershaves (see: sampler pack) but L'Orange Noir and Snake Bite are my favorites.

Moisturizer: Rugged & Dapper Skin Fuel.  This was apparently on my Amazon wishlist and my family bought it for me.  It is pretty good but I never remember to put on moisturizer so whatever.

For @Dissident

Razor: http://www.amazon.com/Parker--Three-Double-Safety-Razor/dp/B00IDDW4Y6
Blades: http://tryablade.com/samplers (Just get a Top 10 sampler)
Brush: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011PXIN2C or http://www.amazon.com/Fine-Angel-Shaving-Brush-White/dp/B00ZAQLDBY
Soap: I would just say buy Awakenings but you can get good samples from Maggard.  Barrister & Mann, Proraso and Chiseled Face are supposed to be good.  Or just spend $4 and get the classic Arko shave stick.
Alum: http://www.amazon.com/RazoRock-Alum-Block-Plastic-Travel/dp/B00F6VM8JE/ref=sr_1_5_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1459111597&sr=8-5&keywords=alum+block
Styptic Pen: http://www.amazon.com/COSMETICALLY-My-Nik-Sealed-Styptic/dp/B001B8HRII/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1459112079&sr=8-2&keywords=styptic+pen Not necessary
Aftershave: Samples, samples.  Fine ones are my favorite, St Charles is #2.  Don't know enough to recommend anything else.
