Oh no, you have to type in one word and press ENTER before booting up Windows! :unhappy:

I have and there was absolutely no reason that CMD should have kept coming up. Even in regular safe mode it came up first.

Have you checked the registry? Navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and delete the line(s) if they are present.

@Semi:              It's a customer's computer, poo poo like that won't pass

@Svetlana:             A format and reinstall is usually the final resort, which it was cause I got sick of that poo poo and reformatted

@Nameless:            Keys were already empty

Have you seen Windows 8 on a computer that came OEM with it? Well first off, the product key is streamlined through the BIOS. You can't even get into the BIOS options from the startup, it loads instantly into Windows 8. By default a windows 8 machine WILL NOT boot from any CD that is not a windows 8 disk until you get into the OS, go through pages of options to find how to get into the bios, once the PC reboots into the BIOS settings there's some verify CD option in there to turn off. But if anything were to go wrong with Windows 8 or your PC, well good luck booting from any CD to run a diag or some poo poo cause it ain't happenin.

Windows 8 is fine, I cannot for the life of me figure out why people are still bitching about it.

That said the only reason I use Windows is because of Football Manager but it's perfectly fine

Well windows 8 is alright if you install it yourself and mod it, the real problem comes in if it's on an OEM computer that came with it.
