Alright, so I work at a computer store. Well a customer came in with the FBI virus (AKA a virus that locks out your PC and demands like 500 dollars to unlock it)
Well I removed successfully, but now instead of loading explorer.exe when you boot, it starts with CMD, forcing the user to type in "explorer" to get to the desktop. I've literally looked for like 2 hours for a solution and google's absolutely no help. Like srsly, I'm about to take a week to compile Gentoo and never look back.

How's that treating you? I'm going through all different types of Linux on a VM just to get a fell for which I like the best. I've had Debian installed on my old laptop for like 4 years and I enjoy that, but I wanna give others a shot.

Slackware's great. Kind of boring, but SUPER EASY to maintain.
If you're running a server I recommend it over anything else.

Also a big fan of Arch

I've heard some great things about Arch, and I've had a few real life friends saying I should install it. Might end up giving it a shot.

I have and there was absolutely no reason that CMD should have kept coming up. Even in regular safe mode it came up first.
