NO! One bad game doesn't mean all my games are bad. I implemented half of the features there at midnight before I had to send the piece of poo poo off to a contest.

Dude, I worked at Nintendo for 2 years, right across the street from Digipen.  I know for a fact they don't consider "bitching about every programming language you hit a 30-second snag with" to be a relevant subject.

You gave Dark Survival too harsh of criticism, so I'm afraid to show you my good stuff because I might receive criticism there too. I already lost two major game design contests, and I'm not about to be embarrassed yet again by people who know nothing about art.

How can I not complain? Everyone complains! There's a lot to complain about! And by "subject" I mean at school, not any conversation. Most of the time was spent talking to a recruiter. He was a jerk. What sucks is that in order to get into the two relevant technical programs there (RTIS and BS of GD) I'd need a pre-calc credit, which I'm not about to take. I could get a BA in game design, but I find that sorely disappointing. My mother argues that it's not a BFA, but who cares? I'm a technician, not an artist. Well, kind of an artist, but not in game design. For me, Digipen is a back-up school. I'm really interested in film school, but the main subject of conversation here is games, because I figure, "these guys are on the internet, they're nerds, they don't want to hear about that film crap". So, here I am. I'm not a game designer in the least. I'm an indie filmmaker who programs small games as a hobby. Nothing too serious. I'm good at the technical coding, just not so much the art stuff. I'd say I have a natural way with framing the shot, etc. but modeling an entire realistic character is very tedious. I thought Dark Survival was pretty good for a first game. You don't deserve any more.
