I miss playing with lego

I only ever had Mega Blocks as a kid. My parents sucked.

I built a whole army of spaceships that stayed on my shelf throughout my TEENS. Good times

legos were the best thing ever, i passed on my legos to a family friends kid, but they were wasted on him because he went on to be really good at sports instead, that son of a bitch, give me back my legos

I never had any cool or interesting lego, only regular colored blocks and some wheels. None of the more specific parts except for a pirate set which has far too many pieces missing to make it into a nice decoration.

I wish there were something like LEGO Creator but with online multiplayer. And I don't mean minecraft, I mean building dynamic poo poo with actual lego bricks, dammit.

how tragic ;_;

there was LEGO Universe and I think a few other MMOs but they were all more about product tie-ins than actually building cool stuff.  The problem with digital LEGOs is that it's too 3D and there's way too many parts to index effectively.  With the time you spend learning how to make something in Mikes LEGO CAD you might as well have learned how to model poo poo in Blender or something.

Thankfully my parents were willing to hold onto my massive collection for me.  Someday I'll buy a house and dump them all into a room to play around in.

Creator was pretty intuitive, I liked it a lot as a kid

but the resolution is way low and it gets boring after a while alone

someone should make a modern remake of it
