Columbia is legit, I have last season's ski coat they made.

They're pretty high quality at any price range, I bought a fleece(?) jacket made by them for $20 which is pretty darn low for new winter wear by a good brand and it actually fit! Everything else in that price range was by no-name companies and were disproportional and with lousy zippers.

Some guy in my dorm was showing off his new north face coat, specifically the gigantic-ass north face logo on the hood. So stupid. It looked like a fine coat but I'd feel like such a jackass if I had a giant logo on my dome

i'm just going to bookmark these i buy some duds in the 3 years
my dad, my grandpa both grew like 3 inches when they were 19 so I would hate to just outgrow my duds

I suppose I can agree with this, winter clothing is usually awful but Columbia seems to be decent.  North Face and Patagonia are probably both the best, but they are also for only the extremely rich people so they don't really apply.

Columbia makes really nice jackets, I wear one in the wintertime like 24/7

columbia is pretty nice, i have this outdated and rather unattractive columbia beige jacket that doesn't fit with anything in my wardrobe but i've had it for years, it's warm, and fits well so i just can't bring myself to throw it away and wear it all the time

also my peacoat came in today i can finally be warm in the winter instead of having to layer 3 different jackets that wound up making me look like a downie

ive been looking for a peacoat. what are some good ones?
