I actually envy you having apparently missed the Cena Decade.

Not that I ever had any real issues with Cena being champion ("bling-bling sideshow" belt notwithstanding), it was just an especially obnoxious decade where smarks kept doing the most bizarre and excruciating mental acrobatics to try and explain why Cena - a well-built and charismatic athlete who proved he could keep up a good "face-in-peril" role for an ungodly amount of time - was legitimately the worst thing about wrestling.
