It's ok. The first section of the game wasn't scary or tense for me despite trying to be so I was kind of disappointed. The middle section introduced a new enemy that was actually kind of scary and they even added some quality jump scares in with it. Plot is kind of whatever so far but we'll see if it can stick the landing and make it interesting.

For my personal tastes, it's a solid 7/10 atm that is fighting its way to be an 8/10 by the end.

Ok I beat it, the ending didn't answer any questions and I don't know what happened or why. I might like it more in hindsight, but it didn't reach that 8/10. I will say it's very pretty (despite the annoying static filter you can't turn off) and I enjoyed the diegetic UI.
