That's the big irony of "rebellious" culture being taken advantage of by record companies. They make money off these kids who think they're "different" with garbage pop that has "attitude".

I have a few minor scene kids in my school. There'd probably be more, but there is a location near my school that has lots of big rigs so it probably wards them away.

I really wish that these kids would be dropped off in the Republic of Congo with no money and would be raped several times a day by Africans with AIDs. It would bring a smile to my face.

My favorite part was when she said mass-produced conformism was lame and then referenced a website giving instructions on what exactly you need to do to become a part of this nonconformist subculture.
