Hello fellow WINNERs

The router I currently use, a Netgear DGN2200, is a fetching bag of wank.  Please help me find or recommend to me a decent router.

Cheers  :roddy:

the best routers you can buy are probably the RT-A6 & RT-N6 series from asus, which are easy enough to put custom firmware on.

i have this poo pooty router AT&T forced me to buy
http://www.amazon.com/AT-2Wire-3600HGV-Gateway-Wireless/product-reviews/B0065PLIPK/ref=cm_cr_pr_hist_1?ie=UTF8&filterBy=addOneStar&showViewpoints=0&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending

The wireless failed after a few hours (seems to be pretty common from the Amazon reviews) and getting it replaced was such a bitch. I talked to this fat asshole on the phone (I could tell he was fat just by his voice) and at first he tried to blame it on me using Linux. omfg! I told him it didn't work on Windows either and he was all like "ok h/o let me talk to our Ph.P engineer team." Then when he came back he straight up LIED TO ME and said something stupid that made no sense!! "oh i noticed an invalid checksum on your account and that might have caused your wireless radio to stop working. Our Ph.P engineers are working on it now try so again in a few hours"

I hung up and used AT&T's live web chat, which was much more helpful.

The End

my tp-link router worked fine until a couple of years ago, now the wifi randomly breaks and i have to manually unplug it and plug it back in which is a hassle since the router is in another room
