why is Levis 511 not an option?
I just bought a dark grey pair today, they were on sale for like 30

The sizing of Levis are different depending on where you go I guess.  At Kohls I get the 514s because the 511s feel like tight ass skater emo jeans, but at JC Penney the 511s fit perfectly and the 514s are too baggy.

As I said earlier:

Department stores just buy the brand name and manufacture them independently, meaning they aren't really any better than anything else in the store.

My 511s used to be great but they barely fit anymore, especially around the thighs, and look ridiculous.  My backup 501s are great around the thighs but have no taper so it gets baggy toward the ankle.

Finally got around to the Levi's outlet again and picked up a pair of 508s, which I was told were good for athletic builds, and it is indeed true.  They are the goldilocks cut for me, straight above the knee with more taper toward the bottom than 501s but not ridiculously skinny like 511s.  They are also silky smooth, highly recommended if you happen to have my same problems.

Yeah it's some bullpoo poo EJ.

RAW DENIM LOG DAY 1:

Not as uncomfortable as I was expecting them to be.  I have realized that button fly is really superior to zippers.  I can't wait to wear these every day for the next several months and put some SICK personal details into it.  I went with the classic N&F indigo selvedge

I also prefer buttons - getting your balls trapped in a zipper is not pleasant lol

Also you'll never forget to button back up, and there's no zip to easily break

popping off pants is way faster with a button fly.

You shouldn't wear button fly pants if you're planning on eating Mexican

RAW DENIM LOG DAY 2:

More broken in but still incredibly stiff.  I managed to get some good cuffs on them today so at least that is one positive.  The quality is nice for the price, and the selvedge is so beautiful.  Very satisfied customer
