Go NIU don't get raped too much by Florida State

i'm not sure that helmets blessed by the Pope himself could save ND, but I didn't expect them to go undefeated either so we'll see what happens - gotta be a better game than last year's debacle with LSU at least, right?

but seriously idk why everyone thinks Bama is gonna absolutely destroy them. I could easily see Notre Dame winning

anything can happen. also i think a score of 3-2 would be a little more insulting to everyone involved for some reason.

Besides the Oklahoma game ND hasn't really done anything really impressive.  Stanford is a top 10 team, sure, but they won that game on a pretty bullpoo poo call.

Yeah but it's not like Alabama played anyone that great. Georgia was extremely overrated in my opinion and LSU didn't have that good of a year. They lost to the best competition they played this year in Texas A&M. I expect them to win but I would not be surprised at all if Notre Dame won

i'm kinda surprised that Ohio State, being 6-6 last year, didn't elect to self-impose a bowl ban on themselves that year knowing that Urban Meyer would be coming in next year and drawing in all sorts of good recruits, but instead they played the Whatever Bowl and are sitting out of a BCS bowl, possible even the championship game itself, because of it.

I'm so excited for this NIU game

I just hope they can keep it close at least. Really hope they don't get blown out

^ welp

I never saw NIU play and all I knew about this team was what the commentators had said about their QB's rush attack that got them to so many wins. By halftime, though, I figured that Florida State was going to win somewhat handily because their defense shut that guy down and it was getting pretty clear that when FSU took that away their passing game was not all that great: he was tossing balls over receivers' heads, into the dirt, speedily dumping the ball before receivers were ready or throwing to where they weren't in their routes, etc.
