How do I make money off of the coming AI revolution?
06-06-2024, 22:26:07 PM
Investing in the AI revolution can be an exciting opportunity, and there are several ways to approach it. Here are some strategies to consider:
* AI Stocks: Investing in public companies that are actively working on AI technology is one way to get involved. This includes companies that provide the hardware and infrastructure for AI, as well as those creating and deploying AI systems.
* AI ETFs: Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) that focus on AI can offer a diversified investment in this sector without the need to pick individual stocks.
* Private Companies: If you’re looking for potentially higher returns and are comfortable with higher risk, investing in private AI startups could be an option.
* Tech Giants: Some of the established technology giants are heavily invested in AI and can be a more stable investment option.
* Education and Research: Staying informed about the AI industry and its developments is crucial. This knowledge can help you make more educated investment decisions.Remember, investing always carries risks, and it’s important to do your own research or consult with a financial advisor before making any investment decisions. Diversification and due diligence are key in navigating the investment landscape, especially in a field as dynamic and rapidly evolving as AI.

Bitcoin is probably going to dip below $50,000 before eventually going up again. It's worth buying a little in the $40-50,000 range.

Did anyone tune into Steve Voltaire's emergency broadcast? He is predicting that Bitcoin will go down to 32k and Ethereum will go down to 1.4k.

I kissed that money goodbye the moment I invested it. Let it ride.

I am hoping it will fall below $50,000 so I can start buying some more.

the AI companies are explicitly not chasing profits in the short or medium term, and are seeking investment purely in order to build a machine god, ???, profit; so it's unclear what return on investment would even look like
it's also kind of the automobile company problem; out of the hundreds of AI companies that now exist, who will win? is there room for more than one AGI company?
so I'm not putting my money in any particular AI company or portfolio. either it succeeds and the entire economy benefits and grows, or it fails and the economy remains unchanged

Which nuclear energy companies are good? It occurred to me as I was crossing a street that Silicon Valley is going to start pushing for the construction of more nuclear power plants once AI becomes more and more important.

that's such a long play that you might as well just invest in the S&P instead
it'll be a decade at the very least before we see any payoff from any kind of nuclear push; that's assuming that the research is done and they can start building right away

I'm going to buy shares in Cameco. I asked my dad about it and it turns out he bought shares in the company a year ago. I also mentioned it to a Canadian boomer and he thinks it is a good investment. I think our elders have great wisdom.

Bitcoin is crashing. I am going to buy $500 per week until it goes over $50,000 again.

The other day I checked in on some leftover bitcoin I had from earlier trades that was worth like 100 bucks years ago and now it's worth 2150€

I'm holding onto most of it but I think Justin Sun eating a six million dollar banana is a signal to sell. I'll buy more if the price goes under $70,000.

I bought 5500 TRX 7 years ago for 200€, should've bought way more because it's up 500%. Then again, if I had bought more, I probably wouldn't have forgotten about it for 7 years and would've sold it after it doubled or something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
