Social/Off-Topic / Hello it's me Klayotic...

Holy poo poo, I can't remember when's the last time I did a drive-by post on this forum. Last Thursday was my Birthday, I got my first job, and I want to get a SNES Classic. And plus my most favorite character now is Hello Kitty and I think she is the embodiment of :stamp: and love her more than Nintendo and Studio Ghibli combined.

And I got nothing else to post about, I'm just bored out of my skull here, so sue me guys.

Edit - Just checked my posts and I can't believe I skipped the year 2017 when it comes to posting here.

Pro Wrestling / When Marnie Was There!
20-06-2015, 00:27:56 AM
Once again, i decided to come here and post a new topic after a long while.

I just want to say that last week, I had the fine pleasure of going to Manhattan's IFC Center (with a friend) to see Ghibli's newest movie to ever come to our country's territory in cinema. And that was "When Marnie Was There".

But seriously whenever i think of the movie and the two characters Anna and Marnie (<3 <3 <3), the song "When I see you again" by Wiz Khalifa pops into my head.

It's the most  :stamp: movie I've seen this whole year.

and tomorrow i'm going to to the Mermaid Parade in Coney Island. and i plan to see Jurassic World, Terminator: Genisys, and maybe Ted 2 and Pixels soon.

I was at this pizza store in Manhattan with another "friend" or acquaintance who looks south american, which goes by the name of "NYC Fried Chicken Corporation", last February and a rather unexpected yet hilarious event occurred:

A crazy black guy was asking me for spare money to get pizza and fried chicken, but i told him that i didn't have money (and he replied "that's okay") but soon after my "friend" told him to leave me alone or something and then the black guy was like "why you speaking up for him? he your boyfriend or something?" and then pestering him and the pizza store owners (whom happened to be muslim/middle-eastern) started telling the black guy to stop bothering "his customers" (which is us) and the black guy started to make racial jives at their muslim origin and culture by stating "you know your country don't like homosexuals right?" and even threatened to "get the immigration rally/council" on him and a fight starts and escalates.

i just tried to remain as calm and still as possible while eating my pizza and i managed to record only a minute of this incident (since my smartphone ran out of space unfortunately at the time) and had to get out for safety reasons and finish my pizza on the walk out.

here's the video and read the description for a bit more details as to what happened:

It's me.

I just came back from this year's trip to Taiwan (which completes this decade's starting trilogy of trips from January 2012, June 2013, January to Feburary 2014) last sunday and just want to say hi to everyone!

I'm having jet lag, a cold, and great back pain.

and i just finished watching all Rocky movies, Riddick movies, and Machete movies when I was in Taiwan.

now i'm getting into old action movies like Terminator, Rambo, and Robocop. What's up y'all?

Social/Off-Topic / Merry Christmas everyone!

I would just like to wish you all a Merry Christmas. Tonight I'm going to Outback Steakhouse for dinner as a reward for passing a second compTIA exam.

and great movies I've seen in the past few weeks are: Thor 2, Frozen, and Hunger Games 2. Too bad I missed Homefront (;_;).

and uhhhh... how's the Holiday for you guys?

Now that summer is sadly gone (it was so much better than the last three), but now that september has come... I feel like my life is gone flowing to the bottom.

This month has been nothing but sheer sadness and perpetual boredom for me. And still studying for this A++ Certificate Exam coming October. Even if I'm right out of college/school for the first time.

And to make matters even harder, I'm on this strict gluten-free diet for the rest of this year and can only eat all the food I want like my normal self in 2014.

Boy, this diet is so strict that it makes your standard lacto-ovo vegetarian diet, muslim diet, kosher diet, vegan diet, and even a hindu or a jain or a buddhist diet look like easy and comfortable.

Man for over two weeks, it's been quite the trip lol.

On my way to Taiwan, I saw several movies on flight: Jack the Giant Slayer, Good Day To Die Hard, Oz The Great and Powerful, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Gangster Squad, and bits of Saints And Soldier (which I finished watching on my ipad at a dentist in taiwan)!

And on my way back here to NYC, I saw movies that I wanted to previously see on the beginning flight: Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed, Bullet To The Head, Live Free Or Die Hard, GI Joe: Rise of Cobra, Snitch, and half of The Last Stand (too bad my flight ended sooner than I thought).

I know the second and third sentences are useless info, but...

ask me anything.

I remember it was like 4 years ago from this month when I had graduated from high school... now I graduated from college.

and tomorrow, i'm going to be leaving for a plane to Taiwan to stay in for two weeks. Man feels like yesterday doesn't it?

1) spring break just ended for me and so are the first three months of this year.

2) and I just saw From Up On Poppy Hill, it's such a beautiful and truly heartwarming movie courtesy of Studio Ghibli:

Any questions?
