The peppermint flavor actually isn't bad; the bizarre juxtaposition of taste and texture is what bothers me more than anything else about them. Imagine a standard peppermint hard candy but as soon as you take a bite it collapses into a wet powder.

This makes me want to start eating random snack foods again.

Sunny Select Rising Crust Pizza is very good and very cheap (usually $3.99 or something). Ready in 20 minutes which is faster than a pizza delivery.
If you're in a real hurry, try the thin crust version which only takes about 10 minutes
