they were all mixed into a bathtub for the sake of convenience

i like it, it's pretty similar to foursquare and gives you recommendations for bars, beers and local breweries. layout and search are nicely done, it's better than loading beeradvocate in your mobile browser for sure

i used the UNTAPPD app to track my progress and earned 19 achievement cubes

the selection was all dark stuff so mostly stouts but there were a couple other things
i won't post pictures because they really all looked the same in varying shades of black and brown

1. deschutes brewery obsidian stout (6.4%)
rating: delicious creamy nitro

2. dogfish head world wide stout (18% !!!!!)
rating: highest abv beer i've ever had but still delicious

3. 4 hands bona fide imperial coffee stout (9%)
rating: strong coffee flavor to average tasting stout

4. buckledown shady aftermath porter (6.3%)
rating: pretty good for a (relatively) hoppier option

5. stone brewing co. 2011 imperial russian stout (10.5%)
rating: highly recommended

6. 4 hands volume #1 american imperial/double stout (10.5%)
rating: decent, a little bitter

7. half acre beer company baumé american stout (7%)
rating: too hoppy

8. one trick pony kisber felver black IPA/cascadian dark ale (6.8%)
rating: it's an IPA

9. greenbush brewing co. ursus old ale (8.9%)
rating: decent with odd aftertaste

10. half acre big hugs american imperial/double stout w/ coffee (abv unknown)
rating: strong coffee flavor with good tasting stout

11. ballast point brewing & spirits victory at cea coffee vanilla imperial porter (10%)
rating: lighter coffee taste which is a plus imo, pretty good

12. greenbush brewing co. mammoth weizenbock (8.3%)
rating: never had a "weizenbock" style before but it was one of my favorites of the day

13. dark horse brewing co. reserve special black ale (7.5%)
rating: very good

14. cervejaria colorado guanabara american imperial/double stout (10.5%)
rating: kinda weak, kinda hoppy

15. dark horse brewing co. plead the 5th imperial stout (12%)
rating: also good

rating: bourbon cask flavor w/ coffee notes, pretty good

17. solemn oath brewery la grippe saison (10%)
rating: kinda blah, hoppy

18. meantime brewing co. imperial russian stout (13.5%)
rating: not bad, decent but nothing special

19. dogfish head miles davis' bitches brew american imperial/double stout (9%)
rating: pretty average, again nothing special

20. ballast point brewing & spirits victory at cereal imperial/double porter (10%)
rating: it's victory at sea infused with cap'n crunch or something, interesting and not bad

21. deschutes brewery's the abyss american imperial/double stout (11%)
rating: coffee flavor, not too crazy

22. revolution brewing co. deth's tar russian imperial stout (11.4%)
rating: really dark, strong bourbon cask taste

23. pipeworks brewing co. "hey, careful man, there's a beverage here!" russian imperial stout (10.5%)
rating: despite the big lebowski gimmick it was actually really really good. interesting amber color too which i haven't seen in a stout before
