I'm not bothered. You want people to post, and this is actually an intellectually stimulating topic because it raises difficult questions and forces self evaluation. I also see no wrong in pointing out the absurdity of a community that needs to click a Coors button every time the word "Coors" is mentioned, yet seems to miss that the meta rating would be the ideal rating for, among other common things around here, every single post in which someone bitches about the meta rating.

And is someone ever going to get around to defining SKRAG'd? I'd hate to think I was being too subtle.

We should have a Seinfeld rating to rate ratings that don't mean anything.

When I first joined I didn't know what SKRAGd meant so I asked @Steev and he told me it means anything involving hacking or circumventing forum security.

Yes, just a few days ago Skrag found a flaw in post ratings that allowed him to steal 4,000 rigcoins.

And I also agree that the coors light rating is retarded but I wont fight that battle because I know a losing bet when I see one.

For that matter, is there some technical limitation that keeps us from having more ratings than we currently have?  I feel like I'm not getting the whole story as to why we can't have both ratings. If space is an issue, couldn't we just replace the rating UI with something collapsible like a drop menu?

I think if I remember right they decided that there would be no "user themed ratings" anymore except ZIGS since that transcends just the user.

They ditched SKRAG, Steev'd, and Diss'd all at the same time.

I think we are only limited by imagination and admins.    But mostly admins.

We can have as many post ratings as we want.

I couldn't agree more. I think they probably just got mad that SKRAG'd was being used so much and decided to take it away. It was #1 for a while.

What is even more amusing is the refusal to bring it back even though it wouldn't harm anything!
