I was mystified with some guy on a (supposedly) science forum about his ridiculous notion of life starting on Mercury instead of Earth because he thought it was a better interpretation of the story of Genesis in the bible.  The thread is still going passed 130 pages!

Maybe its a bad habit, but just today while looking at the wiki page for fluid dynamics. I was displeased that there was no reference to it being used to model the detonation of fission weapons.

That and I was too lazy to make up a story.
