I stopped checking g+ when I was reading HOT ON GOOGLE+ (the only thing that ever gets updated anymore) and saw an inspirational poster that was just a picture of a sunset on a flat yellow background, like something you'd see on a 90s website. I assume 90% of the userbase is people in southeast asia now.

Also the phone app is really bad. What is their deal with white space? First half of my browser is totally blank on the desktop version, and now every post that doesn't have attached media is covered in a big white block on the mobile app? I truly do not understand what the hell they are trying to achieve other than see how hard they can run a social media website into the ground.

I actually like the mobile app (have only used on tabs tho) and only check what's hot to find out which celebrities are dead (Most recently Andy Griffith... RIP)

maybe the mobile app is better on a tablet form factor but it's really ugly on a phone screen imo.

Well I set my language to Spanish, so I get mostly old memes that are amusing when used by spanish people, soccer, news I don't care about, and soccer (though it is called TEMAS INTERESANTES EN GOOGLE+, which is of course much cooler).
