Here's some "free stuff" I got...

I ordered a couple of Mass Effect related items from Amazon (a Normandy model and a Tali action figure) but it arrived after Christmas and I didn't get to open it until January 2nd.  Each one had a promo code that was good for a free "collector pack" for ME3 online (basically a random booster pack of weapons, characters, and buff items) with each pack having at least 1 rare or better item in it.  According to the little slip of paper though, the code was only valid until Dec 31 2012.

Well I decided to try it anyways, and sure enough it gave me my collector packs (2 of them).  I redeemed one of them, but it didn't go away.  So, I redeemed it again.  Still didn't go away.  Over the course of 2 days I redeemed the collector pack like 120 times and it never went away, just kept giving me free poo poo (including one rare item with every pack).  By the time it finally went away, I ended up getting every rare gun in the game up to Level 10, several character classes up to Level 20 with full customization, and am sitting on a HUGE stockpile of expendable buffs and items.

I think what broke it was that I wanted to get some of the updated character classes that they added with the latest expansion, so I bought one of the Premium Spectre Packs with in-game credits, and then the next time I redeemed the collector packs they went away.

There's an ampm right across the street from me, but last time I checked they didn't have mtn dew kickstart

bjorno's home made mtn dew recipie

Ingredients:
8 oz gamer pee*
3 caffiene pills
60g sugar (or equivalent HFCS)
1 tbsp n00b tears
4 drops Yellow #5

Directions
Crush caffiene pills
Mix pee & tears together
slowly add sugar while stirring
add food dye until perfect glow achieved
add caffiene dust while stirring
pound dew
get extreme

*Notes: gamer pee natural has perfect mtn dew levels of carbonation
