make one out of MDF, potentiometers and a PIC

MDF is a poo pooty building material and not very eco friendly either

What are you using it for?
Effect controls in Mixcraft. I mostly use it for amp sim settings, but really it just turns a guitar pedal (in my case a Behringer FCV100) into a MIDI controller, and lets you do anything you normally control with the knobs or sliders on typical MIDI keyboards.
