Finally, I get a piece of hard proof that EJ is black. That, combined with the fact that he lives in England (or at least the UK, but I'm assuming England, right?) makes him automatically the most interesting person on this forum.

Now I have someone to ask about what's offensive to black people and what's offensive to Brits. Also, now that we've opened up the issue of race, we can discuss mythology regarding racial classification. For example, are dwarves their own race? Are elves technically human?

I guess what I tried to mean is just that what some people call "color" people includes but is not exclusive to, black people

Aren't the 'coloured' people more correctly incas instead of 'black?'

I should point out that there are indeed a lot of people of African descent in Brazil thanks to SLAVERY.

This is true, but they're not a majority, the majority is very much compromised of white people like me, so it's really just like any other town in the USA I think since you can find just about every kind of person here.

Aye, I'm not sure how widely that is accepted among those it refers to (If I called my asian friend a 'person of colour' then she'd probably just be very confused and think I was calling her black). I don't get how some pale asian guy is "of colour" but some tanned, dark-skinned white dude apparently isn't

You're right, I guess it is a silly term after all.

Technically, we all have color unless our RGB values are perfectly aligned.

Well yeah, I was just saying that "colored people" are not all native americans in Brazil, different from like Mexico or Central America
