I had the problem with v7.90.002 alpha in post #3. It might happen in all Krypton builds but I didn't check.

I tested the retro gaming builds briefly and damn it's gonna be so sick when Kodi-Games finally gets merged (Kodi 18 probably). omg so sick

tl;dr Kodi is becoming and emulator/game frontend, it will be able to play retro game ROMs the same way it plays videos now.
It'll also be possible to make games for Kodi using the libretro API (a few games already ported, Cave Story, Doom, Quake, a Minecraft clone, etc)
