Alright m8s but can steampunk be dystopian or not? 

Here is a thought provoking comment from the comment section of the previously posted article.

If Victorian Britain had really had the sort of technology imagined in steampunk - the future could be extremely different. Though if the technology was leaking to the other nations, things might not change too drastically. But let's assume that Britain is the only country with advanced technology at the turn of the last century.

WWI may never have happened - Britain could have dominated the world with their computers, advanced flying machines, etc. Then again, if WWI never happened, Britain might have imploded from the pressure put on by the suffragettes, the Irish Home Rule group, and the labor unions. In fact advanced technology might create a smarter populace, which might have led women to want to vote earlier. The technology probably wouldn't reduce the amount of labor needed - since Victorian machines often need laborers - so that might create even more labor unions. However, with the technology, Britain could have smashed Ireland and simply not bothered to deal with Home Rule.

Hmm....so many possibilities. Would Britain implode and create a future world without its influence? Or would it grow into a superpower - stoppable by no one?

The possible dystopias that could be created from this are mind boggling.

As opposed to just a steampunk dystopian future. 

I did, and it doesn't seem to be from the creators of prison architect. It also seems like it's a steampunk dystopian near future, which is a big plus. 

I was not given a choice to upgrade. I went to sleep and when I woke up I was told Cortana upgraded me automatically. Disgrace 

I run CCleaner from the same british company that made Prison Architect 9 times a day but I asked on the forum and they said my harddrive can never truly be clean

I preordered all the DLC on advice of reddit. 

I play using my steam controller and the oculus rift I have in my parents basement 

No kidding. I was just travelling through the N'gothhath System and landed on what looked to be a jungle planet, and after breaching orbit I realized it was a prison world with a lot of guys fighting in a weight room. These are the things you cant experience unless you really take the time to explore the galaxy. Screenshot attached for proof.

Breaking news guys, the game isnt actually missing promised features. They are all included, but the game is just so big that all of us are too lazy to actually find them. You need to explore for 4 years before finding the promised multiplayer mode.

Good thing I paid extra money for the explorer edition (I actually didnt pay for this game at all)
