I bought SS2 on a Steam sale a few days ago, for roughly $1 

I think Zigs or someone else pointed me to this graphics mod a long time ago: http://neutralx2.com/2013/07/14/system-shock-2-mod-pack

I just need to know if that is still the best thing to download, before starting this game for the first time?

 

I played it earlier this year without any mods and it was great so I can't actually give you any advice BUT IT IS A GREAT GAME

But yeah, you can't go wrong with any mods or no mods at all

Ok so finally giving this game a proper play. No mods because the mods just make the game look like DOOM 3 which is stupid
This game is really good, better than Half-Life even.
