If you have a PS/2 port on your PC still, this is seriously my all time favourite mouse: http://www.flickr.com/photos/9528724@N03/sets/72157624432533156/

It's biggest flaw is that the shafts are plastic.  If it had steel machined parts it would be true :stamp:.

Break it in and after a day or two it spins really fast.  You can even convert it  back to a regular mouse, but man fetch all of that I need to live my life like I'm playing centipede in the arcades.

There's a guy who sells these on ebay NOS in the box for $5

Sergey, what do you think of my :stamp: gamespot review of BR?

I think you're WINNER !

I recently started using this old dell mouse with my laptop and it's great:

Inexpensive AND long-lasting. I've had it for 6+ years and it still works great!

i think i'll drill a bunch of holes in it and put a blue led inside that would look cool

I have a little two-button black Dell mouse with a wheel and that's great for me. Does anyone have a multi-button mouse with thumb buttons and track balls and other things and actually uses those? I tried one out once upon a time and found that I never used any of those extras and because they're larger than a regular mouse to accommodate the extra buttons it felt like moving a mini-brick around in circles.

But seriously, I did email Fatal1ty to ask his advice a long time ago.

I don't know who else is a top gamer at present though.

My mouse has back and forward, pause, DPI up/down and a button that unlocks the scroll wheel.  Back/Forward I use constantly and the pause button is god's gift to mice as far as I'm concerned.  The rest never get used but they're mostly window dressing anyways.

My G400S has thumb buttons. I love it. They work as forward and back in browsers and in games I can set them to do stuff. Like in Battlefield I have one toss a grenade and the other knifes.
