Diceman, I just wanted you to know that there are still PLENTY of things I don't like about America!

Here are a couple:

1. No metric system
2. mm/dd/yyyy dating style.  It doesn't make any sense at all!

Add more here, fellow Americans (Y)

The date pisses me off, so does the metric system. I'm glad we agree on that. Not using u in colour and armour is also irritating. The side of the road we drive on is irritating. Use of gray instead of grey is infuriating to me. Use of "Spelled" instead of "Spelt" also pisses me off, especially when we act smug and tell someone "Spelt is a grain you idiot spelled is the word"

Really the date is infuriating dude. Why we use "Month day year" is completely beyond me. Anyone with a brain would go either with day/month/year or, even though it would be odd, atleast year/month/day is logical in terms of putting things in order. Month day year is an abomination and completely ass backwards.

I use grey almost exclusively.  I don't get your concern about the side of the road though, it's right in almost all of the world except for the UK and some nations that don't matter (http://repairpal.com/images/managed/content_images/blog%20images/2011/Nov/Driving_Countries.gif).

It is because we like to say "They drive on the wrong side of the road over there" as if our way is inherently correct. Australia matters.

I know we agree on this but what about how we insist on calling "Football" "Soccer" just because we made up our own sport and decided WE would call it football even though football already existed?

When I form a dictatorship i'm going to call I-pads Z-pads and call a telephone an I-pad

I think it's fair to say that British people are above saying "Wrong side of the road" About Americans because it is smug and narrow minded to assume that anything not from 'home' is 'wrong'

I definitely agree 100 percent Cirus, I could not have said it better myself. I'm glad we can all find common ground on these issues

there is only one FOOTBALL, and the American version deserves the distinction of being "American Football"

Yep - This is why I big up Australia. They call football football , American Football American Football, and their own game "Australian Rules" Football. Correct and right thinking people.

On that topic,

3. Replace American Football with Aussie Rules Football.  That poo poo is way more entertaining to watch!

To be completely honest I've never watched it, but I heard the referee is the funniest thing ever for some reason.

Maybe I should check it out tonight on youtube or something, do you suggest it?

Yeah it's dope as all hell.  One summer one of my local public access channels started showing a lot of random world TV shows so every evening I could sit down and watch the aussie rules highlight show, and sometimes even a match!
