My friend who works at MagPi just sent me this pic:


As you can see the new pi will have a 64-bit cpu

For obvious reasons he couldn't tell me if they're using the same old VideocoreIV GPU or not. My guess is "probably" because there aren't a lot of open GPUs in the ARM world, but maybe Broadcom made something new just for the Pi 3??

He said it is scheduled to release on Monday the 29th, but this can change at any time
