Looks cool but also like super similar to cave story.............. either way, I will definitely end up buying it eventually

anyways back to the game it's actually a little disappointing in how linear it is.  Like literally, it's just a go right and shoot things game.  maybe it heats up after a while.  the really low resolution bugs me too

no but honestly though i didn't particularly like it myself, even though that may be because i found it too frustrating or maybe it's just the excessively wapanese storytelling that kinda made me switch it off after a while (which is kinda the same reason why i can't really enjoy anime i guess, it's hard to explain what i mean by that)

i guess on wishing i were cuter, my brain sees cute characters as "competition" and it kinda makes me uneasy about something

There's also this prologue thing you can play for free.

I really like Cave Story but I've never played any of Pixel's other stuff (not that he's made anything since Cave Story with much substance). I'm also very hesitant to pay 8 bucks for something that I hear can be beaten in 2 hours.

wapanese is short for weaponized japanese

and if it's really that short than I will definitely wait for it to go on sale, instead of most likely waiting for it to go on sale
