Do you guys agree with using the fancy tablets for laundry or do you prefer to use plain liquid/powder?

Laundry tablets are a scam, I use BIOKLEEN LAUNDRY LIQUID since you don't find name-brand stuff many places in Berkeley.  I used original Tide before that

Use those things that look like candy.

I use Tide because I like the color of their products.  The tablets and candy packets are always more expensive and probably contain way too much detergent to be economical

That is what I use, that tub is about 16 bucks but it lasts forever.

Those things break open in shipping all the time and the shelves they're on are covered in gross slime

A real entrepreneur would take all that "gross slime," package it in empty bottles, and brand it as detergent from concentrate.

My favorite laundry tablet is Nexus 7

namclone if you are at all like me each time you do laundry you'll try to force the orange or the navy blue into the little airpocket in each swirl then give up for fear of bursting it on your hand, then just peg it at full force into the washer in a fit of rage (on top of your clothes that are already in there naturally)

I squeeze it to see how much pressure it can withstand.     Also when I first used them I thought they were wrapped in something you had to open.

I don't use tablets for laundry but I do use them for the dishwasher
