Battery question

Hey guys why do batteries go like + up , then the other one is - up, like opposites, but on wireless mouse the + is up on both batteries? May need beer w/ straw for a question like this

i don't think there is any real reason besides making it easier to connect the batteries in series, but thats just my guess

No I mean I understand the alternating im just wondering why most wireless mice just to + up on both batteries instead of the standard

Thanks EJ you are right I just took 1 of the two out and its still working fine but does now have some sort of light on.

I think they do it in parallel so they can get away with it. I remember my wireless mouse worked with only one battery meaning it was in parallel but why they do that I don't know

so it lasts longer without having to replace the batteries as often

the way you insert it really doesnt have anything to do with how they are wired.
It is likely that the mouse is wired in parallel, though.
