About 2 liters a day. In the summer more than 3 liters a day.

wtf

You get most of your water from drinks and things you eat.  I tend to stop drinking coffee after lunch and then switch to water.

I drink 1x cups of coffee in a day and 1-2x cans of soda water. There is no way 2-3x cups of water would be enough unless I'm not doing anything in the winter time.

I meant, in addition to coffee, soda, etc.

2-3 cups of water is simply absurd, you must be severely hydrated.

my typical water intake:

7am - 10 oz coffee
10am - 16 oz water
12pm - 2 oz espresso
2pm - 16 oz water
6pm - 16 oz water
930pm - 32 oz water

I'm confused.  Are you saying I am drinking too much water?  By a cup, I mean 8 oz.  But this is america, and thanks to soda it really means anywhere from 12-16oz.  A "glass".

But yes, I drink about 16-24oz of coffee a day, then maybe a 12oz "can" of carbonated water or just plain water.  Then another 2 cups or so of water at some point when I get home around 8PM and then another a bit before bed.  You consume 92oz of liquid a day.  Apparently I am consuming about 56oz a day.

I don't really know what to say.  Yes, it's winter so I'm mostly in the house not doing anything.  In the summer, if I'm doing stuff or sweating I drink more.  Also these numbers are just guesses because I'm a true hat tip bachelor in my house and just take large swigs out of a gallon water jug that I refill when I want water.  If I feel thirsty, then I drink water.

I used to drink a lot, probably a couple of liters a day as well, but I have low blood pressure and a cardiologist told me to drink less water and add more salt to my food, so I've been trying to drink less.

It was very satisfying to tell Jasmine that, actually, I was making our food excessively salty because my doctor told me to
