the IRC is still alive, it's been at irc.synirc.net #bigrigs for years (over a decade at least now)

much as I hate to admit it though, discord is far superior and until they start trying to seriously monetize, there's no point in going back to IRC

IRC had a vastly superior stats program and funny hostnames so as far as I'm concerned it was better.

Also discord's stupid meme loading messages are awful
