...just watched episode 5-8.  HOLY fetch.

After a bit of a middling start to the season, it's built up and up to this great episode

9 & 10 will surely be amazing also

It was a pretty good season but the stuff in Dorne was all pretty lame

i guess the stuff in Dorne never happened in the books? some people are saying the show could be it's own thing seperate from the books at this point

The show has a lot of really major differences at this point, that's not a problem.

The stuff in Dorne was just so cheesy, especially the stupid Sand Snakes characters

My only worry is if they try to cram everything to come into a final 2 seasons; it's been said season 7 will be the last, but from what i've heard George R R Martin still has a huge amount to write

GRRM will probably die before he finishes the story

i think season 5 covered 2 books which is why it felt so crammed, season 6 and 7 both cover one book each so hopefully the quality goes back up

GRRM has been working so hard and there is reason to think he will at lesat get the 6th book out before Season 6, but yeah the show will certainly finish first.  The last two seasons have been using stuff from books 3-6 so the pacing isn't really comparable anymore.  Only the first two seasons were consistent really.
