This site claims it will give me a 50% off Toys R Us coupon if I provide my email and mobile phone number. I think it also wants me to install their program (supposedly for coupons and deals) at the end of all this.

I looked up the name, and one person wrote that CouponFly.me is running an attempted phishing operation (in which phones would be signed up for a service that's for pay).

However, in another site, I saw a 100% satisfaction rating for this coupon (and one person had claimed it two hours ago).

How screwed would I be if I went through with this?

I was putting in my mobile number and email at first, but I grew weary about this whole operation once it asked me to download the program. Then after I looked up the reviews, I decided not to risk it and closed out of their .

Giving out fake information to get stuff is one thing but if you start getting asked to download poo poo that's an instant sign to turn the fetch away, you got out of there just in time!

I think it's safe to give them your email and phone number.

It says on the page "We respect your privacy."

Well since I already gave you my social and credit card numbers I guess it wouldn't hurt!
