The great movie Pulgasari was commissioned by Eternal President Kim Il Sung in order to showcase the great strength and will of the Chosun people.  Dear Leader Kim Jong Il was the prime executive producer and creative director for the movie.  The result was an East Asian collaborative effort to combat the evils of imperialism and their capitalist propaganda, "Godzilla" and "King Kong."  The movie was directed by the ex-hero Shin Sang-ok, who willingly lent his talents for the production.  He was later brainwashed by secret rebel forces in the South and defected.
