I meant I wasn't running 2 video cards in one board and I don't think it was possible at the time or just a well established idea yet. I'm not up on the dates. I believe voodoo was bought out by NVidia at the time and ATI hadn't released its 9800xt.

Time travel to quake 3 before the mid 90s?

SLI has been around since the mid 90s with Voodoo cards.  You showed a Q3 engine based game.

Sergey, what do you think of my :stamp: gamespot review of BR?

I think you're WINNER !

Anyway, I read the first two paragraphs of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scalable_Link_Interface

It was kinda' interesting

The name SLI was first used by 3dfx under the full name Scan-Line Interleave, which was introduced to the consumer market in 1998 and used in the Voodoo2 line of video cards. After buying out 3dfx, NVIDIA acquired the technology but did not use it. NVIDIA later reintroduced the SLI name in 2004 and intended for it to be used in modern computer systems based on the PCI Express (PCIe) bus; however, the technology behind the name SLI has changed dramatically.
