Me and Trog killed a bunch of magic/harry potter nerds and burned all their spellbooks. it was fun

Hello I've been playing some new/experimental roguelikes on itch.io

Ananias is an up and coming roguelike who got some attention on /r/roguelikes recently. I think it has a lot of potential! There are like 8 classes (some of which are only available in the paid version) and 4 pets. There is also some kind of tactics system similar to ADOM.

It has desktop clients for Win/OS X/Linux, and HTML5 version for your browser, and an Android version on Google Play store. A Steam version is also planned

Shattered Pixel Dungeon is really great for a quick roguelike, probably my favorite on Android.

Ananias seems promising and the interface is incredibly good, but it didn't seem to have a lot of depth from what I have played. I'll keep playing and see if there's more to it.

Another i've just started playing is Pathos: Nethack Codex. It's NOT nethack, but FEELS a lot like it, but with a much better interface for mobile. Idk what's missing, but the developer keeps adding more stuff from NetHack and its forks so it should just continue to grow and grow.........
