my go to regular beers are sam adams, rolling rock and sam adams. I like microbrews but don't know poo poo about them and kinda just have them when someone gives one to me but they're good

And rolling rock isn't amazing it's just really cheap

Y'know what's good?  Hard cider.  The local breweries here on the west coast make some excellent ciders that have the alcohol content of ice beer without the horrid (after)taste.

Woodchuck and Strongbow are my favorite brands that you'd be able to get.  Sometimes Grocery Outlet carries Angry Orchard which is OK.  There's a local brewery here that carries some really good ciders, they're all locally produced and they don't bottle, they only sell to breweries.
