Yup.  Worked out i'll have to download it Thursday morning, and play it when i'm back from work that evening because of the US time difference.  Will be playing a Chanter, and also design the 5 other characters myself rather than take the given NPC's in my first play-through.

Yeah but at least you can design your entire party.  I can always go with the game's normal NPCs on another play-through, and experience the story again but with more dialogue.  Also being an evil bastard, no goody two-shoes crap this time around.

It's a great game so far, and i've barely started even!

Man this game is great, highly recommend it to all gaming fans worldwide. the atmosphere when you first arrive at gilded vale is just, wow. it manages to give off the dark creepy vibe like Diablo or Dark Souls.

 there's also something really refreshing the way obsidian writes their comapnions, theyre all pretty interesting and devoid of cliches. idk how you're okay with skipping out on all this good writing @Skrag

This game is so good!!!!

Hard difficulty seems perfect; combat is just right.  The quests are great from what i've seen so far, not the usual fetch-and-reward crap you'd get in other RPGs.  Genuine benefits from making "evil" choices.  No benefit from "grinding", as XP isn't awarded for killing the same creatures over and over.  Beautiful graphics, highly detailed.  Excellent writing.

Loving it so far.
