Really don't think it's comparable to the Xbox One

It's made to supplement the 3DS really, certainly not as a replacement.  Nintendo does this for basically every one of their handhelds, Game Boy Micro, DSi XL.  If this was a replacement then yeah, it would be a colossal mistake but on its own it's a pretty decent niche to try and fill.

I can't believe just a few weeks ago I was reading about people who said there would never be another 3DS redesign. What maroons.

it's cheap, large library, pokermon, etc, but is it wise to buy one when the superior nintendo switch is just around the corner?

UPDATE: I got a $80 2ds. It didn't come bundled with a game so i kinda got cucked, but it's only on firmware 6.0.0-69 or something so i should be able to install CFW on it
