Big Rigs Online / Re: Box Art
31-08-2009, 19:29:00 PM
Shouldn't the lettering of "online" on the front of the box be golden coloured, to match the side of the box?
yeah yeah whatever i read it the first time but didnt have time to change it
will do later today
Looking forward to it. How would this game be distributed, though? You would have to stock stores with it across the country.

Also, there are still some things to be fixed in BRO. I can't play it because I extracted CarZ.res or whatever it was called so I could make mods. Support needs to be added for the Big Rigs Racing\Data folder.

You're supposed to extract carz.res

Also, I can't even play it. You need to add support for just the Data folder so people who have deleted the resource file can still play.

What resource file? all you need is to extract cars.rez and have BigRigsOnline.cfg point to it

I'd try it but since it's Thunder's I'm sure it is anything but the program his post describes.

Khalad wanted a something of quality coming from me to consider my request. I am simply fofilling that condition with a small 2D Big Rigs game.

Where's the game?

Wow Thunder I'm sorry I ever doubted you? Are you sure you want to be on the BRO team? With quality like that you should be helping develop Id Tech 6.

Does it have to be racing in 3D? I can do other games!

Even making a 2d pong clone is a lot of learning. If you do that I'll be impressed.

Actually if it wasn't for you guys I would have gotten bored with BRO's development a month ago.

If Thunder would actually educate himself instead of wasting his time making useless threads he'd be more skilled than John Carmack by now.

Just as I predicted, this never went anywhere.

AI sim is probably just burnt out on the project. It happens easily when you get to the point that everything left to do is easy, just a lot of work and you feel there is no challenge. Big Rigs Online is basically at the point where I won't have much trouble finishing the things I want to do, its just that its pretty boring at the stage its at.

I used the original BROTRR graphics for the menus except the first one.

Thunder actually make something we can play and I'll be impressed.

Why aren't I on the team?

Because you haven't shown that you could make any worthwhile contributions.

the best things come to those who wait. Big rigs was in production for thousands of years, and we are extremely gifted to be the generation that first experienced it.

Going to get the megaone trailer you created into the next update as well.   :bluerig:
