If everyone keeps bugging donut he can finish coding the stuff to appear over avatars.

It has more to do with donut's total lack of communication than anything else

I am really good with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, but I am just learning PHP. I could do as good a job as Cirus, except I don't have yourewinner.com to test this poo poo on, and I don't want to put in the time.

and you have a fantastic history of being responsible when given access to web servers

Yes, although I just said I won't be working on it.

Yes, but not with this particular test of web coding skill.

Anyhow, couldn't it all be done with CSS styles and DIVs? Easy peasy. Use a background image for the overlay since it will be a fixed size image and put the overlay div on top of the image, both with position:absolute;border:0;margin:0;top:0%;left:0%;width:100%;height:100% inside of a fixed-pixel containing DIV. The PHP side of it I'm not so sure about, but that shouldn't be too hard if you look at the code for image usernames.

like I said I know how to use css and divs to make it appear, it needs some php code for some system of actually putting stuff on people's avatars to exist, otherwise we'd have to put it ther manually all the time

Then you have to modify the PHP that generates the avatars/user profiles just like you did with image usernames.

donut made some shockingly basic php for image usernames that doesn't integrate in with the site code in any way at all. I was thinking, we could scrap one of the useless profile fields that nobody uses at all and use it for something else, that would work

DO IT!
