Anyways here is a Polvo song:



The two bands are related in that the guitarist/vocalist for Polvo plays Bass for Helium.  Mary Timony was his girlfriend at the time; so some of that oddness kind of meshes with the projects.  Normally not into mathy stuff (looking at you Hella).  But the pre-2000s stuff of that genre seems to have some good stuff.
