I write with this pen. The lines are fairly thick and it smudges when yellow highlighter goes over it (and stains the highlighter tip). However I suspect I'm not using it properly as my mother was able to write fine with it, and unlike me, my mother does not have diabolical handwriting.For what it's worth, it's a medium tip, writing with a fine tip might prove to be better.
Avoid the Staedtler 0.3 Liquid Ball pen at all costs.
