Waz the big deal!!!

I think Waz and DarkGod are probably the best roguelike developers when it comes to substantial updates like this

This update is so good

Things I noticed so far:

* You throw things at an arc instead of a straight line now
* New Weapon: Shurikens (I love these!)
* New Item: Eggs that eventually hatch into monsters
* Ladders are more dangerous because your pet (at least the cat) can't attack while climbing
* New enemy: Hornets!  (I hate these)
* Fruit goes bad if you don't eat it fast enough (YUCK!)
* Large corpses take longer to eat
* New abilities for ex. Knight can pray to the "Big Guy" for help, Wizard can trade an intelligence point for a (temporary?) boost in stats, and probably a lot more
* You can now tell your pet to equip stuff
* Your alignment seems to have a much bigger impact on the game

I said 64-Bit but some asshole redditor with an old Pentium 2 is probably going to yell at me

The fact that I even need 32-Bit libs on my system in 2015 is ridiculous!

New enemy: Skeleton updog.

While they're not as good for pets as werewolves at least you don't have to feed them!

Health bar after blessing/drinking all 32 bottles of wine in the wine cellar (no longer fills up half the screen)


Drinking from fountains at the lower levels can spawn water elementals which can drown you if you don't have magical breathing so BEWARE

There's a new scroll/potion that turns you into the flash, or a big rig going in reverse. You're just a blur fetching up everything in your way, but only for a short period of time. Coolest thing I ever sawin a video game.
