A couple things I noticed:

1) No male Bidoofs offered for trade past Level 10.
2) Any Deoxys less than Level 100 will only fetch you a newborn Bidoof.  Conversely, a Lvl 100 Bidoof is worth 1 infant Togepi.  According to these statistics, Deoxys < Bidoof < Togepi.
3) I really REALLY wish I had a Togepi.  I did trade a Lvl 8 Male Bidoof for the Lvl 34 Female though.

My level 91 dragonite (as I mentioned in the other thread, completely EV trained from lvl 5) just isn't doing it for me anymore.

I actually started playing Ruby :(

So far it's alright, I just wish they didn't dick with the evolve levels of all the old pokemon. Magicarp shouldn't learn tackle either.. just doesn't make any sense.

Oh and there is WAAYYYY too many wild abras running around. I already caught 2 of them just for kicks. That and team magma seems like a bunch of pushovers. UNLIKE THOSE ROCKET FELLOWS!

Oh and anyone know what new pokemon I should be getting? I already have a dustox (its basically a butterfree), taillow (pidgey?), wingull, combuskin, magicarp (lvl.19), an Abra, and random low level HM whores.

I just got to mauville and all my pokemon are hovering around a lvl 20.

aron because its defense is good and aggron (it's final form) is totally kickass. Too bad it's weak to water, ground and fighting. Still badass though.

Absol is supposedly pretty cool (never used it myself) and Ludicolo (evolves from Lotad) can be tricky to beat so he's a good choice.

I ran into a lot of aron's and noticed that they all died pretty easily so I never bothered catching one. Haven't run into any lotads yet.

That's really unfortunate, Ludicolo is an awesome pokemon, the Grass/Water connection is great for messing with people.

The joke behind this "Bidoof Stock Exchange" is that yeah, the trade requests are beyond ridiculous.  The main reason for that is because someone circulated a rumor about a "cloning" cheat that involves a vulnerability in the process of posting a Pokemon to the GTS.  The trick is, you have to ask for something so hideously ludicrous, that you know nobody will ever trade with you, that way, you can go and take back your Pokemon after executing this cheat.  It's bullpoo poo, and I wish people would knock it off.

On the other hand, it does provide a fun little in-joke about how awesome Bidoofs must be, because look at what people want in exchange for them!!!

Here's a trick for your Abra: teach it Thief, so it can work for its own XP and EVs, and raise it to an Alakazam.  Then, replace its Thief move with Shockwave.  You will end up with an Alakazam that completely fetchs with everyone.

At first I was going in with the assumption that I was going to just play with all old school pokemon through a brand new world but apprently all my starters have look like something out of a carebear commercial.

I picked the chicken only because I didn't want a mudkip (LOL 4chan ETC.) and the gecko just looked stupid.

But now that I have found the wonder that is the bulbapedia I no longer have to wonder when these damn things are going to evolve.

I'll be picking up an arron on my next trip back through the damn cave.

It's a TM you pick up eventually, I forget where.  Basically, it's on a very short list of attack moves that an Abra can learn, and so allows you the ability to actually train a Kadabra, rather than link an Abra to an Exp Share for 15 levels.
