I know there is already a topic for this but tnow that it's implemented I wanted to make a topic for it.  First off here are how they will be distributed:


* 15 Rigcoins for making a new topic
* 5 Rigcoins per post made
* 0.1 Rigcoins per word (up to 20 Rigcoins)
If you PM me I will retroactively give you the Rigcoins you should have, sans the word-count bonus. 

Now it's up to the users to decide what things we should have in the shop!!  Besides a Big Spender achievement cube (I'm thinking 50,000 Rigcoins) and hats (variable, probably from 5,000 and up) I don't know what else to do.  When we have things in the shop, it will probably just work in this way: The user buys the item, PMs an admin and then they will take care of the actual change.  Not having things hardcoded might be a little inconvenient to start but will let us do more stuff in the future.

Finally, cool points are gone for good.  They are useless so there is no point keeping them around anymore.

No, more like I wanted that info to be more easily seen.

as usual the admins make a system so that they can reap the most benefit from it

Unlike post ratings this was implemented pretty quickly.

Also every day I will be posting a different 10,000 word philosophy essay and a new topic asking everyone if they like Big Rigs and there's nothing you can do about it.

On a serious note we could have a monthly raffle/auction where members can pay to moderate their own sub-forum for a month.

In addition to having a shop like you said, users should be able to sell things to each other. For example I could start a thread saying I'm taking requests for image usernames, wallpapers, etc. with a price I set for each one.

Absolutely.  There is a system like that in place already; it was previously disabled but I'll enable it now.  It will show under the Rigcoins field on the left.
