You'd be surprised, it's not like there's hidden poo poo in the background but in cases of loud music you can usually pick out the instruments easier, especially percussion.  And metal seems to enjoy that obnoxious doublebass which overpowers everything else in the song (which is why I personally don't listen to much metal or anything related to it).

Not pretty sure, I am sure I have never heard of them or of most metal bands.  But who knows, there might be something in there I'll like.  I'll do another stream tonight
