I idea of something ground breaking like that would be in the news more I'd think.

mice aging breakthroughs are in the news all the time, at this point it's not even really a story until they start human trials on anything.  The only real actionable information to come out of it all is to drink red wine to get that sweet, sweet resveratrol, and to undereat when you get older.
